Intercultural Festival in Richland College - Dallas,TX

The Richland College Yoga Club was present in the intercultural Festival and many students got interested in yoga and meditation. On the stage there was a presentation of yoga accompanied by the sweet melody of one Prabhat Samgiit in Bengali. More than 300 people were present and enjoyed the final kiirtan sang live with the help of the guitar. Many picture were taken and few of them can be seen here. New Jersey bans death penalty

TRENTON, N.J. - Gov. Jon S. Corzine signed into law Monday a measure that abolishes the death penalty, making New Jersey the first state in more than four decades to reject capital punishment.

The bill, approved last week by the state's Assembly and Senate, replaces the death sentence with life in prison without parole.
